Disclaimer and Risk Acknowledgments

Data Attribution Disclaimer

Web3 Attribution Platform provides marketing attribution insights based on blockchain transaction analysis. You acknowledge:

  1. Attribution is approximate: We use heuristic matching between tracked clicks and blockchain transactions. Attribution may be inaccurate or incomplete.
  2. We do not control blockchain data: Once data is recorded on the blockchain, we have no ability to modify, delete, or reverse it.
  3. Wallet linking is pseudonymous: We track wallet addresses, not identities. We cannot verify who controls a wallet.
  4. Data sources may be incomplete: We rely on blockchain explorers (Etherscan, BaseScan, Helius) which may have delays or gaps in data.
  5. Privacy implications: Wallet addresses are permanently visible on the blockchain. Users you track via wallet addresses may be identifiable if they reuse wallet addresses or provide personal information elsewhere.

Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Risks

  1. Irreversible transactions: Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed or modified once confirmed.
  2. Market volatility: Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile. We do not guarantee the value of tokens or assets.
  3. Regulatory uncertainty: The regulatory treatment of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and on-chain tracking is evolving and varies by jurisdiction.
  4. Network risks: Blockchain networks may experience congestion, forks, security issues, or other technical problems. We are not responsible for blockchain network failures.
  5. Smart contract risks: If the Service relies on smart contracts, those contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities. We do not guarantee the security of smart contracts.

Data Privacy and Legal Compliance

  1. GDPR compliance is your responsibility: If you track users subject to GDPR (e.g., EU users), you must comply with GDPR requirements, including obtaining legal basis and providing privacy disclosures.
  2. CCPA compliance is your responsibility: If you track California users, you must comply with CCPA requirements.
  3. Consent: You are responsible for obtaining proper consent from users before tracking them via blockchain or other methods.
  4. Privacy policy: You must have a privacy policy that discloses tracking practices to your users.
  5. Data subject rights: You must honor user requests for data access, deletion, and portability as required by applicable law.
